The site's founder Andrey Ternovskiy said that his company is contacting police after gathering the IP addresses of users that expose themselves.

The video chat service is famous for its army of excitable naked practitioners.

He said: “We’ve blocked thousands of IP addresses, reported offenders and service seems to be much cleaner than before. That is cool. Now give us some time to put new features in place.”

However, the site doesn't appear to be again nakedness per se. Its introduced an adult channel with some success for this kind of thing.

It seems targeting non-consenting users, especially minors, is the real problem.

A service called iChatr, which replicated Chatroulette on iPhone, was recently suspended.
