The US-based mobile community specialist has unveiled the MobileThreat portal for fans of metal and punk – specifically to support this summer's Sounds of the Underground tour.Among the initiatives will be a contest that asks fans to mobile blog their experiences at the show, daily tour alerts and messages direct to mobiles, video blogging and more. Fans will also be able to buy ringtones and wallpaper of most of the festival acts directly from the MobileThreat mobile and web sites.
The Sounds of the Underground line-up features main acts GWAR,Shadows Fall,,Chimaira, Everytime I Die, and Job for a Cowboy. This is Hell, Goatwhore, and 2 Cents. Something for grandma to listen to.
