CBS aims mobile sports app at US fans

CBS Sports Mobile has launched an app to deliver scores, stats and video to US sports fans.

The CBS Sports Mobile ‘Ultimate Sports Application’ is customisable, so users can configure the content around their favourite teams across all major sports and fantasy leagues. It’s accessible on 18 different handsets using AT&T wireless service for a monthly fee of $4.99.

The launch is part of a general re-vamp by CBS Sports Mobile, which also announced plans for a redesigned mobile website to go live in September. It will offer a personalised sports experience, and the ability to conduct cross-platform interactions with the CBS Sports Community.
