Catch Media platform to deliver 'personalised' promotions

Airload system can target users by device type, OS, location and even accessories.

Catch Media has been around for a few years, and began life as a music-focused company offering cloud-based content.

Its Play Anywhere tech currently powers the UK’s ‘My Music Anywhere’ cloud music service from The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy. It expects to roll out in the US over the summer.

It now appears to have broadened its remit to pushing any kind of content to users from its remote serving technology,

Catch describes Air Load as "a revolutionary way to deliver relevant content and promotional campaigns across any connected device in any location based on consumer profiles."

In addition to targeting by device etc, Air Load can assign users by associated sale, service tier or affinity group. For example, only devices sold with another product, such as accessory, insurance or carrier service.

It also says partner companies can make substantial savings by removing the complexities in the supply chain such as pre-load costs and the need for long lead times. They can even quickly terminate ineffective campaigns.

The Air Load service is compatible with Android, iOS, and Blackberry smartphones and tablets.

Yaacov Ben-Yaacov, CEO of Catch Media, said: “With Air Load you get a better way to engage consumers with a personalised marketing channel for connected devices.

Our customisable campaign tool offers super-relevant personalisation and removes the complexity, costs and time associated with pre-loading cell phones with digital content before they are sold to consumers.”
