The retailer's iPhone app is no longer live, but it surely represents the intent of all major organisations connected with mobile – event retailers – to get into some cloud action.
The move represents more acceleration of the idea of the cloud concept that takes local content and makes it accessible from all manner of devices in any location where there's a connection.
It comes as both Apple and Google are rumoured to be working on their own cloud-based music services.
The app promised users "you can listen to your music collection when and where you want to. You can organise your music, create playlists and rate your favorite content”.
