But is it a long-term partnership?
Games publisher Capcom is the latest big name to sign up for the OpenFeint iPhone social gaming platform.
The company is initially releasing two Openfeint-enabled games: Dark Void Zero and Hatchlings. They'll both offer connected features including leaderboards and achievements.
In return, OpenFeint's maker Aurora Feint will promote the games through its Openfeint Game Spotlight app for two weeks.
"Capcom Interactive has been evaluating the online mobile gaming space for quite some time now and we think that OpenFeint has a great social games platform," says Capcom's head of Americas and EMEA studio Manabu Seko.
However, that evaluation process will surely have included realising that Apple will be launching its own Game Center community this summer, offering many of the core OpenFeint features that Capcom is using in its two new games.

Will it switch to Apple's platform then, or continue working with Aurora Feint's OpenFeint X service, which is planned to sit on top of Game Center offering more transactional features.
