BuzzCity served 10.5 billion ads in May

Eight figure landmark for Asia's mobile advertising network.

BuzzCity attributed the increase to rising consumer demand and a growth of inventory thanks to white-label content services.

These services are shared with more than 1,000 content partners and act as an outlet for BuzzCity’s media properties such as Djuzz, JAMsked and Now-Cook.

All of them supply free ad-funded or sponsored content.

Djuzz, BuzzCity’s mobile gaming site, is on track to hit the 100 million downloads target in June 2011, with more than 45 million games downloaded since January 2011.

Meanwhile JAMsked, its music listings site, now promotes 40,000 gigs per day.

Dr KF Lai, BuzzCity's CEO, said: “Content syndication is a cornerstone of our business strategy and is having a significant impact on BuzzCity’s growth.

"Demand is increasing for it, and testament to that is the diverse range of more than 1,000 partners we have across the globe.

"White-label services like ours make sense, as many mobile strategies rely on quality and relevant content as an important element.”

BuzzCity also believes the rise of 'white-box’ manufacturers from Asia is driving demand by giving feature phone users access to basic web and media functions.

FFS do companies still advertise through this crap?!! Register as a publisher and see what I mean.. Most of the ads are the adult ones or ones which will take your credit without asking for confirmation (i.e. ringtone companies) If you disable such ads as a publisher you earn next to nothing even if you serve 1 million impressions because the CPC rates are the lowest on the Internet! You'll have to choose either screwing your visitors or earning 10 $ for millions of impressions..
