Factory-sealed first generation phone is an eBay bargain.
Two original iPhones, apparently unused, have cropped up on eBay. One has a Buy It Now price of $10,000, while the other is on auction and currently sitting at $6,100 with 13 days left.
Both sellers have 100% feedback.
One of the listings reads: STUNNING RARE COLLECTORS CHOICE APPLE iPHONE 1ST GENERATION 8GB AND FACTORY SEALED..!!! YOU ARE SEEING A PIECE OF HISTORY..!!!! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE COLLECTORS SHOW PIECE..!!!! THIS WOULD BE A CROWN JEWEL FOR ANY COLLECTION..!!!! AMAZING FACTORY SEALED BOX..!!! UNOPENED AND THE COLLECTORS DREAM APPLE iPHONE..!!!!!!
THIS IS OFFERED FOR A LIMITED TIME….. !!!!!!! HAPPY BIDDING…!!!!
Because if there's one thing that screams legitimacy, it's italicised all-caps.
The iPhone was a game changer for sure, but is it really worth $10,000 just five years after it was released? I have no doubt that someone will snap up the one with a Buy It Now price, and will be very interested to see how much the one in the auction ultimately goes for.
We'll keep you informed.
