Buongiorno is to introduce SMS based competitions across Telefonica opcos in Latin America.
The agreement will allow Buongiorno to introduce ‘Superconcursos’ services in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala and Uruguay over the next year. It is the largest deal for Buongiorno in the region so far.Superconcurso offers subscribers a daily challenge to win roll-over prizes with a cumulative value of over 10 million euros. According to Ovum, customers in Latin America are expected to send around 145 billion SMS messages in 2008, a 14 per cent increase from 2007.
