And the staff count will rise from 10 to 50.
Buongiorno revealed the news at a briefing yesterday at its East London HQ, which was attended by the UK government minister David Willetts.
The firm has been busy diversifying away from its mobile D2C roots in recent years, and now divides its activities into three core businesses: Mobile Connected Life; Mobile Marketing & Mobile Payments and Mobile Internet Apps and Solutions.
Connected Life comprises the various social media services that the firm has launched.
It's probably fair to say they haven't been wildly successful (not in comparison to products like the 'Top Up Surprises' it creates for operators).

At yesterday's event it revealed interesting updates and new products.
One was Proximity Tips, a 'hyper local' app pitched at visitors to new locations and based on listings info and social recommendations.
Buongiorno also revealed updates to its 'social dashboard' Hellotxt, which aggregates all a user's social networks in one app, making it east to read and post to separate accounts.
It's changed the UI such that friends and accounts can be represented in a circle and moved more closely to the centre in order to represent how significant they are to the users.
Then there's Hellotxt Journals, which appears to make the product a bit like Flipboard. Here, the user can click on various feeds and then merge them all into one place.
The cute bit is that these aggregated feeds are represented as books on a shelf for easy navigation.
Buongiorno has already created a white-labelled version of Hellotxt Journals for Acer, called Acer Alive.
