Good news for Bubble Motion, the company behind it.
Four weeks ago, we reported on the launch of Bubbly, a voice blogging service from Bubble Motion that was launching first in India.
Well, it's done quite well. Bubble Motion says it's signed up 500,000 users already there, thanks to its partnerships with local operators.
It's also been helped by the fact that Bollywood stars including Bipasha Basu, Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan are using the service to record messages for their fans.
"Bubbly helps fans stay connected to their favorite Bollywood celebrities all over the world," says CEO Tom Clayton.
"Fans love the personal feeling of hearing their idols’ actual voice on their own phone. And celebrities love Bubbly as a very simple and personal way for them to stay close with their fans."

Bubble Motion says Bubbly has generated millions of 'bubbles' (messages) already. The service will expand to other countries in Asia, as well as Europe and the Middle East, this year.
