'Voice-based Twitter' service maintains impressive momentum across India, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.
BubbleBlog, created by Bubble Motion, gives users the option to record a voice message and then share it with targeted base of contacts.
Like Twitter, it's proved popular with celebrities – especially in India where some entertainers have many thousands of followers.
Celebrities using the service include Amitabh Bachchan, Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra, Yuvraj Singh, R. Madhavan, John Abraham, Radhika Pandit, Ravi Kishan and many more.
The service has been particularly successful on Reliance Communication in India, which alone has gathered 1m users.
Now, BubbleBlog and Reliance are also adding new social features to the service, including: enabling listeners to reply with their own messages, allowing them to vote that they "like" what they hear, and allowing them to forward SMS notifications to their friends to share updates.

The service works on all handsets as it is network based.
