Bubble Motion makes one billion 'voice SMS' calls

Celebrates success of service that lets users record voice and send it as text.

The BubbleTalk flagship product gives users 30 seconds to record a message which they can then send as a 'bubble'. It's especially popular in emerging markets, where literacy is an issue.

“Sending a Bubble message or "bubbling" has become an intrinsic part of life for the tens of millions of people who rely on it to keep in touch and express themselves,” said Tom Clayton, President & CEO of Bubble Motion.

“Now that this message format has a tremendous foundation of success, our role is to keep innovating and finding new applications for the service.”

The company has also developed complementary messaging applications such as the one-to-many BubbleCast, BubbleSong (a viral song  and content dedication service) and BubbleContest™ (a many-to-one service with UGC).
