Rob Glaser steps down as CEO; John Giamatteo departs as COO.
Company founder Glaser has said it is time for him to step away from day-to-day operations, so he will now become chairman.
The company named Robert Kimball as president and acting CEO. Kimball joined Real in 1999 and most recently served as general counsel and executive vice president of corporate development.
Meanwhile Giamatteo is leaving after four years in charge of operations. Prior to Real, Giamatteo was president and CEO of Nortel Networks’ Asia Pacific region. No reason was given for his departure.
