Launch advertiser partners include Nike, Beachmasters, Universal Pictures and others.
The service will bring the Blyk brand and ad-funded media model to the Netherlands for the first time.
The Blyk offer includes 1.000 free texts and 1,000 free Blyk-to- Blyk minutes per month for its 16 – 29 year old susbcribers.
“Together with Vodafone, we intend to build a game changing youth media in the Dutch market” says Eric Kip, MD of Blyk Netherlands.
"Our relationship will include a co-development of the consumer proposition for the Netherlands and audience management. Blyk will have responsibility for the brand, advertising sales and technology.”
Blyk is slowly building out its European operation, with a slightly different model from the MVNO approach with which it launched in 2007.
The firm will retain its consumer-facing brand, but will run its service in partnership with selected operators.

In the UK, it helped Orange design and run the Orange Shots ad-funded project.
The firm says that in future operator partner deals will be localised,and more likely to follow the VodaNL blueprin than the Orange UK format.
