Means developers can explore, learn, and test BlueVia APIs faster than before.

BlueVia is the platform from Telefonica that invites app makers to beef up their products by integrating them with network APIs.

These can enhance their effectiveness by plugging into assets like SMS, MMS, user contextual information, advertising and location.

Developers can also benefit from direct marketing support.

The API Console makes this integration easier, helping developers to authenticate to an API in seconds, view the full surface area of an API, view request/response pairs in only a few clicks and share what they are seeing with others.

It is built with Apigee To-Go, a free product to let users build, skin and embed their own API Console.

BlueVia offers between 10 per cent and 50 per cent of the revenue generated by API transactions to developers. It also gives developers 70 per cent of any app sales and recurring subscription revenue.

Chet Kapoor, CEO, Apigee, said: “BlueVia’s use of the Apigee API Console reflects their commitment to making it easy and quick for developers to start using APIs.”
