World of Warcraft behemoth thinking about it.
Eurogamer interviewed Greg Street - aka Ghostcrawler on the World of Warcraft forums - who indicated that the move could come at some point.
At present, Blizzard is focused on PC online games that require a powerful graphics card, mouse and keyboard so the shift wouldn't be straightforward. But the firm seems keen.
"Everyone I know here has an iPhone or an iPad so we’re huge fans of the hardware," said Street.
"If we could make the right game changes to make that work, it’s something we’d be interested in. It’s not something you’re going to see in the next week or two, but it’s the kind of thing we’re always looking at."
The whole iPhone thing must prompt mixed emotions for Blizzard. World of Warcraft boasts around 11.4 million monthly subscribers who pay around $12 a month.
