Blade enters iPhone market

Manchester-based developer enters self-publishing arena with Inferno Pool.

Blade Interactive, the Manchester-based independent snooker and pool game specialist, has made steps into iPhone market.

CasualGaming.biz reports that the studio has today unleashed its first title, Inferno Pool, onto the App Store, which brings party game mechanics to the sport by making it a simultaneous two-player game.

The game features AI battles and time trials, with all pocketed balls being dropped on an opponent's table - plus 'perfect, fully 3D' ball physics enabling all the moves that can be done in real life.
