Expected to cost $5 a month too.
More details are emerging by the day about Research In Motion's plans for a BlackBerry music service built on top of its BBM messaging application.
CrackBerry claims to have new information about the service, including its cost - $5 a month - and the way it will be built around encouraging people to sign up their friends.
The article suggests that users will be given access to 50 songs of their choice, but for every BBM friend that signs up, they'll be able to listen to their songs too.
"So if you have 20 contacts, you'll have access to 1,000 other songs in addition to your 50," explains CrackBerry, although it has no details on whether there will be an upper limit to this.
Last week, RIM was reported to have signed a licensing deal with one major label for the service, with two more close to signing up.
