But streaming music app is more expensive than iPhone version.
Mobile developer Jeyo has released Wunder Radio, an internet radio application for BlackBerry handsets.
It gives access to thousands of online stations categorised into 400 genres, including music, talk, sports and entertainment.
The app ties into the GPS feature of BlackBerry handsets to automatically serve up a list of local stations, with users able to maintain a list of their favourites for easy access.
BlackBerry users can download the application for free from RIM's BlackBerry App World, with a ten-day trial. However, they then have to pay a one-time fee of $9.99 to continue using it.
What's interesting is the price disparity with other smartphones. iPhone users only have to pay $6.99 for their version of Wunder Radio. However, at least BlackBerry users don't have to pay the $14.95 charged for the Windows Mobile version.
