Because for business high-flyers, time getting your handset out of your pocket is time wasted.
BlackBerry users will soon be able to buy a Bluetooth-enabled watch designed to work with their device, according to this report on BB-focused site CrackBerry.
It's not being made by Research In Motion, though - apparently the inPulse watch is the work of a new BlackBerry-focused accessories firm.
The device isn't a standalone phone like LG's Watch Phone. Instead, it syncs with a BlackBerry so users can save valuable business seconds glancing at their wrist for push messaging notifications.
CrackBerry suggests that it could also display notifications from third-party BlackBerry applications. At least those, like the U2 Mobile Album, which tie into the BlackBerry push system.
