RIM confirms launch plans for 11 countries and offers developers cash prize for submissions.
BlackBerry App World v1.1 will be launched in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Portugal, the Netherlands and the Channel Islands on July 31st.
No doubt RIM is hoiping that the expansion will attract more developers to its platform - a new submission portal for developers to submit apps will open on 26th July.
Moreover, applications submitted to BlackBerry App World by the end of September 2009 are in for the chance of winning a share of $100,000.
To submit an app for inclusion in the BlackBerry App World, developers need to log on to http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/appworld.jsp and follow the step-by-step process.
