RIM begins previewing the store and its new functionality
Research In Motion is inviting developers to a private beta of its BlackBerry App App World 2.0 store.
Those with a BlackBerry Beta Zone account will be able to experience the new features being offered in v2.0, including:
- Support for carrier billing and credit cards
- Improved search
- QR code support
- A new Themes category
- Top 25 Themes and Top 25 Apps lists
It's shaping up to be a big second half of the year for RIM, which has also been showcasing its next-gen BlackBerry OS 6.
