The new office will be leaded by country manager Sebastian Tam, and represents one element in a major expansion programme for Binbit this year.
Just a few weeks ago, the firm announced it has passed 3bn premium SMSs sent, launched an office in Bogota, Colombia, and confirmed plans to expand into 11 new countries in 2011 including Indonesia, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.
The firm is already active in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
