Mexican firm signals international intentions with the purchase of Atinco South Africa.
The technology and content provider will now offer ringtones, games, wallpapers, animations, text services and other services to the burgeoning South African market.
The acquisition begins an expansion into English speaking countries that will eventually include UK and Australia. Binbit was founded in 2005 and is now active in over 30 counties. The company is especially active in Central and South America and the Carribean.
Argentina, the Caribbean (Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Granada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vicente Turks and Caicos Islands) Spain, South Africa and United Kindom.
