RIM's next-gen OS could come with beefed up photo software.
There's a lot riding on BlackBerry 10, but despite its October release being pushed back until Q1 2013, RIM execs remain confident that the OS is 'amazing'.
However, content info remains sparse, but CrackBerry claims BB10 will pre-load photo-editing software similar to Instagram's.
It seems logical, given that the Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform now has more than 80 million users across iOS and Android.
The built-in BlackBerry solution is powered by Nokia-owned imaging specialist Scalado, and has been designed to give users a selection of filters, frames etc so they can tinker around with their photos without employing third party apps.
