Banksy gets an unofficial iPhone app

Banksy gets an unofficial iPhone app

At least we think it's unofficial...

Graffitti artist Banksy has got his own iPhone app, although iBanksy says it's unofficial, rather than sanctioned by the man himself.

It's pretty comprehensive though, offering a biography and 800 photos of his artworks, from 1995 to the present day.

There's also a videos section including more than 100 videos from fans of the artist, and links to his official website, online gallery and fan club.

The app costs $1.99 on the App Store, and has been released by MobBase, a company launched to help bands and musicians release DIY iPhone apps.

We wonder what Banksy makes of someone charging for an unofficial app based on his work. Unless he's behind it, of course...
