Bango to power billing on the Opera Mobile Store.

On bill or credit card payments come to browser firm's own app portal.

The Opera Mobile Store is accessed through the Opera Mini and Opera Mobile browsers, and is therefore accessible to more than 100 million customers. The firm says it is one of the top ten app store worldwide.

Apps and content are configured for the specific device, local market and currency.

Ray Anderson, Bango CEO, said: “Bango payment technology will automatically calculate and deliver the optimal payment experience for each individual user of the Opera Mobile Store, giving customers a great experience wherever they are and maximizing revenues for developers."

Bango is one of the industry's oldest-established payments specialists. It powers payments using multiple channels including phone bill, credit card and PayPal.

The firm is also active in in-app payments, and offers carrier billing for app developers on the BlackBerry app store.
