Indonesian operator to put Bitstream’s browser on its Esia phones.

The deal represents Bitstream's first operator deal, and is another nice bit of business for a company that's building up a sizeable network of partnerships.

It's especially well-established in Asia, having closed deals with Indonesia's K-Touch and Korea's KC Mobile, for example.

Alongside internet access for every type of Esia phone, another advantage created by this agreement is flexibility in bill payment service.

Subscriber based charging by Bitstream enables Esia customers to select various unlimited service packages depending on their needs: daily, weekly or monthly.

Anna Magliocco-Chagnon, CEO of Bitstream, said: “It is great that as our first wireless operator partner for BOLT, we are working with a company that shares our vision and commitment to making the Internet more convenient and useful.”
