Works from iPhone to Android, and runs on top of Apple's Game Center.
Social mobile gaming company Aurora Feint has unveiled its new platform, PlayTime.
In contrast to its existing OpenFeint community, PlayTime is all about real-time multiplayer with voice chat, running across iPhone and Android.
On the former, it sits on top of Apple's new Game Center community, tapping into its player profiles, achievements and leaderboards.
Aurora Feint is claiming that it takes just a day for developers to build PlayTime into their multiplayer games, whether casual or hardcore titles.
The company is working on mobile multiplayer veteran Exit Games on its offering for 'Core' games. PlayTime launches later this year, as part of the OpenFeint 3.0 service.

Aurora Feint says it will keep multiplayer matches going even if one player drops out due to network issues - something it claims won't be possible with Game Center's multiplayer API.
However, it's the cross-platform feature that may be of most appeal to developers, looking for a way to let iPhone and Android-owning friends play against one another, without ducking out of Game Center on iOS.
