Acquires AppFabrik to speed mobile charge.
Rotterdam-based Adfortel works with operators, media agencies and advertisers and offers audio ad services such as VoiceAds, TuneAds and various apps.
An example of its service would be Yesss Laudaah, which was launched for Orange Austria’s low cost MVNO Yesss! last year. This lets users listen to short radio-like audio commercials (VoiceAds) and select their own favourite call waiting music (TuneAds).
Adfortel says the first app to be launched on the back of its AppFabrik purchase will be a white-label messaging product enabling audio and interactivity with its customer base.
The AppFabrik's apps are being offered in several countries in regions such as theMiddle-East, Europe and the US. Launches are expected at the beginning of 2012.
