Those watching live at the Emirates will be able to access replays, stats and pre-game video
Arsenal FC has teamed up with Sony Professional to stream match content to PSP-owning fans sitting in the stadium watching the game.
It works over the Emirates Stadium's wi-fi network and will offer supporters action replays from selected camera angles, plus slow-motion options, live match stats, team sheets, player profiles, pre-match video content and Arsenal.com editorial news.
Fans will also be able to vote for their man of the match, access the League table and live scores and results from other fixtures.
The cost? £10 for the remaining games of the 2009/10 season, with a full 2010/11 package due to be offered in the close season.
Arsenal says it has been trialing the technology with Sony for two years. Interestingly, the club already has an iPhone app - it surely wouldn't be too much of s stretch to make the same content available to owners of Apple's device?
