Oscar Backstage Pass is a US-only app from broadcaster ABC, designed for film fans to use on 27 February during the Oscar awards. Live streams will be served up from cameras dotted around the Kodak Theatre.
Odeon continues the film theme: it's the official iPhone app of the UK cinema chain Odeon, offering video trailers, ticket bookings and social features, while tying in with its Premiere Club loyalty scheme.
Elvis Mobile 2.0 is an official app for Elvis Presley, with news, photo updates, videos, podcasts and two round-the-clock webcam streams from Graceland, just in case The King decides to return from that chip shop he's been working in.
Billboard.com Charts is an app from the US music industry mag, providing access to the last three months of its official charts. Songs can be previewed and then bought from iTunes, and there's a premium subscription option too.
Poker With Bob is an iPhone game that pits players' wits against an animated 3D character called... Well, it should be obvious. It's the work of Scary Robot Productions.

Adult Swim is an official app for the adult-focused (not in that way) TV channel, offering streaming clips and episodes of shows including Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Family Guy.
Football Kicks is the latest iPhone footy game from British developer Distinctive Developments, with a freemium model so players can unlock features through 'hard work and sponsorship', or pay to upgrade quickly and lose the ads.
Dropcam is an Android app for video streaming from 'intelligent' Wi-Fi cameras, allowing people to keep an eye on their homes remotely by streaming live video, and receiving activity alerts when the cat knocks over a dustbin.
AA Key Guide New York is the latest app from the AA, offering a tourist guide to New York for just under a tenner on the App Store.
ESPN Fantasy Baseball 2011 is the latest sports app from ESPN, allowing virtual managers for the upcoming baseball season to manage their teams on the go.
