Apple says it sold 1.7 million iPhones in 2Q08, down from the 2.3 million reported for the first quarter.
However, the company maintains it's still on track to sell 10 million iPhones by the end of this year.Revenue from both iPhone and Apple TV came in at $1.93 billion for its second quater ended-March 29th.
As a whole, Apple posted a profit of $1.06 billion (£535 million) from revenue of $7.51 billion (£3.8 billion) for the second quarter.
