Well over a dozen games already supporting it.
Apple released its iOS 4.1 software update last night, and with it the new Game Center social gaming service.
Game Center offers leaderboards, achievements, multiplayer matching and friend lists, and already has a dedicated section of the App Store showing which games support it.
At the time of writing, 18 games are listed:

- Flight Control
- Farmville by Zynga
- Zen Bound 2 Universal
- Fieldrunners
- Isaac Newton's Gravity
- Cannon Challenge 2
- Megaplex Madness - Now Playing
- Enigmo 2
- Pac-Man
- Cocoto Magic Circus
- WordsWorth
- Nanosaur 2
- Cro-Mag Rally
- Adrenaline Golf Online
- Worldy Wings
- GraalOnline Classic+
- Touchgrind
More are expected to add Game Center functionality in the coming days, via updates on the App Store.

One notable point about Game Center is that like Apple's Ping music social network, there is no use of Facebook Connect. To find friends, users have to email them, or search for their Game Center username.
