Documents suggest it won't be long before Apple owners are syncing content between devices
Macworld reports that Apple has filed a patent for something called Synchronization of Media State Across Multiple Devices.
What that appears to mean is that iPod/iPhone desktop syncronisation functionality will be thrown up into the cloud and opened up to more devices.
Macworld ventures an example whereby a user could stop watching a video clip on one Apple device (say an iPhone), and automatically pick it up from the same point on a completely different device (ie a MacBook) at a later time/date.
The patent also indicates that devices will automatically sync content with each other when they are detected as being in range, using either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
