Wired, GQ, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and Glamour heading to the tablet.
Magazine publisher Conde Nast says it's planning to launch tabletised versions of five of its mags for Apple's iPad.
The company tells the New York Times that GQ will be the first, with its April issue, followed by the June issues of Vanity Fair and Wired. The New Yorker and Glamour will head to iPad this summer.
"They are representative of the company, right?," says editorial director Thomas Wallace.
"GQ is men. Glamour is women. Vanity Fair is a dual audience. The New Yorker is unique with its periodicity, and therefore it’s also more news- or text-heavy, and it’s a slightly older audience."
However, the company has yet to decide on a firm strategy in terms of pricing and advertising, according to Wallace.

Sarah Chubb, president of the publisher's digital division, says it's working on some interesting advertising models though.
"As an example, if you’re a fashion retailer or a fashion advertiser who also has an e-commerce store, how can we make the simple fact that you can click through to an item and buy it kind of great? How do you romance it a little bit more?"
