Webbed wonder swings onto iOS allowing users to become the masked superhero.
Disney has brought the classic Marvel comic book arachnid chap to life as interactive storybook, The Amazing Spider-Man: An Origin Story.
The app has been voiced with the dulcet tones of Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee in the hope of introducing a new audience to the story of teenage Peter Parker's transition into the sticky wisecracking hero.
Speaking of the app, Lee, said: "The Amazing Spider-Man app is a terrific first introduction to the Spider-Man story for young readers. It’s exciting to be able to bring the Spider-Man story to a new generation."
The Spidey app invites users to become hands-on in order to complete tasks such as strength demonstrations, web-slinging across the city and web-shooting to stop criminals.
Lee's voice can be found on numerous reading modes to allow for different reading levels.
