Social footy app is fronted by former Sky pundit Andy Gray.
The makers describe the app, which is free on iOS and coming soon for Android, as a Facebook site for football fans across the world. It's the brainchild of Peter Atalla, the CEO and founder of the mobile satnav firm Navmii.
SharetheMatch aims to get footy fans sharing, commenting and arguing about issues affecting their own club and those of others. It lists features as follows:
+ Check into matches
+ Post comments about the match to your wall
+ Create and share photos and videos for users around the world to view and comment on
+ Rate the match day experience, including: teams, players, referee, stewards and food
+ Select their choice for Man of the Match
+ Build a social history of ‘your’ football season
+ Work towards becoming your teams no.1 fan
SharetheMatch is available in over 10 languages, and is fronted by former Wolves and Villa striker Andy Gray.
