Location-based deals detector for socialites and shopaholics.
Previously Proximitips was only available for iOS but it now comes to Android Market.
Depending on the user's location the app searches for the best deals in nearby bars, restaurants and shops to save consumer wallet strain. Users can search for discounts, promotions and also direct bookings.
Information is taken from thousands of areas with over 125 million places of interest to choose from.
The app also enables users to link to social network accounts such as Facebook and Twitter to share their finds through location-based tweets and updates.
Other features allow the user to save personal interests for future use and also 'virtually' plan a visit ahead of arrival.
