LoYakk recently won the 'Gold medal' in the Hackney Council's 'Race for Apps' competition, and it has been praised for its contribution to East London's Tech City.
The crowd-sourced app has a social format that allows users to rant, rave, ask for help, and speak their minds, based around their current or desired locations.
That means genuine opinions from people, based on colleges, concerts, airports, towns, or a country across the globe.
LoYakk is available for free on Android and iOS, while a BlackBerry version is in the pipeline.
The startup hinted that it also has 'big plans' for Londoners during the Olympics.
