Cubic puzzle game sent back from the future with one sole purpose, tease brains.
Found in the Future has designed i3, a colourful cubic puzzle game that requires users to pair up cubes of the same colour scheme in a group of three or more to achieve points.
The game plays out on a grid, reminiscent of the one from Tron, and indeed the firm said that the idea was to make the app look like it was retro, yet futuristic, while the grid was designed to appear as though it was embedded in the device itself.
As time goes on the game gets faster, and users need to act quickly to keep the grid clear.
Paul Vera-Broadbent, director and designer of Found In The Future, said: "As well as creating an addictive puzzle game we wanted to push the boundaries of app design and make it as polished and hi-tech as the devices themselves. Simple and advanced at the same time - the future of puzzle games!"
The app is being distributed by Thumbstar as part of the gaming giant's new initiative, and it is available across iOS and Android for £1.49 and £1.79, respectively.
