Job search website Fish4jobs claims to be the first of its kind to launch a fully functional cross platform app for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Nokia smartphones.
App developer Grapple created the job-seeking app to allow those desperate for a change of direction to search and apply for new roles on the move.
The firm claims the app is the world's first job app to process applications from LinkedIn profiles to speed up the process.
A couple of specific features include:
* Salary calculator to let users search potential earnings by region and job title.
* Social network sharing to enable users to post roles onto Facebook and Twitter.
