Kings Security Systems started work on dragnstore in summer 2011, after MD Anthony King had his data breached, and now the storage app is officially available.
The app stashes content in the cloud, allowing the user to access the platform across Android, iOS, and Winodws, while BlackBerry and Mac compatible launches are in the pipeline.
It comes with a 30 day trial, but once that's over, 5GB worth of storage will cost 59p per month, rising to £9.99 for 100GB.
King, said: "My wife’s mobile phone was stolen and while it was easy to replace the handset, the real loss was the 300+ family photos that we had saved on it. Pictures including three birthday celebrations, my youngest son’s first day at school and a family holiday were all lost and gone forever.
"With dragnstore we have created a product which is not only competitively priced and available across multiple devices, but is also incredibly easy to use."
