Are you appalling at making decisions? Then let the dice decide your fate.
Digital agency hedgehog lab has produced Dice Life – based on author Luke Rhinehart’s The Dice Man – an app designed to simplify the user's social life with a roll of the dice.
If you often find yourself struggling to choose whether to hit a bar, the cinema, or the theatre, Dice Life will decide for you, even offering a selection of local options near you.
What's more, the app offers options for homebodies too, offering new recipes, books etc to choose from.
Players are rewarded the more they use the app, receiving rank promotions from dice apprentice to dice master. Regular usage will increase the difficulty of the challenges set too, rising across six levels.
Rhinehart, said: "The Dice Life app is unique in that it enables us to let go of our normal decision-making habits and surrender to chance. It allows us to turn decision-making into a game, which is not only a fun and addictive experience, but also can have a very real and positive effect on people's lives."
Sarat Pediredla, company director of hedgehog lab, said: "Our design process had to be very flexible, and evolved throughout the project based on feedback and suggestions from users.
"We’re proud to have created a fun, addictive and eclectically different gaming experience. It’s certainly helped us decide who makes the tea in the office now!"
Dice Life is available for free on iOS, while an Android version is in development.
