Opens up for iPad apps too from December.
The App Hall of Fame has its latest batch of 12 inductees, including Facebook, Fruit Ninja and Dropbox.
The initiative was launched by US site 148apps earlier this year, with a panel of industry judges - including ME - nominating and voting for the best iPhone apps.
November's inductees are:
- Harbor Master
- OmniFocus
- Reeder
- Yelp
- Pocket God
- Real Racing
- Tilt to Live
- Facebook
- Bebot - Robot Synth
- Fruit Ninja
- Dropbox
- Blue Defense!
The initiative is facing competition from Apple itself, which has just launched its own Hall of Fame category in the App Store.
