Harry Potter, Batman and Dirty Harry added to searchable movie database.
AnyClip's tagging technology extracts and indexes over 5,000 individual pieces of metadata from full-length feature films. This means users can search for movie content via snippets of dialogue, actors, props and more.
Each film is tagged with more than 5,000 unique individual elements and added to AnyClip’s online library, which now includes access to over 12,000 films and over 50,000 live clips.
Existing partners include Universal Pictures, Vivendi Entertainment and Indie distribution firms such as First Look and Virgil Films, among others.
But obviously the service depends on having a full catalogue of searchable content. So this deal is a significant update.
“Our agreement with Warner Bros. will give loyal movie watchers and online innovators access to scenes from some of the most famous films of all time,” said Oren Nauman, CEO of AnyClip.
