The figure, a new monthly record for the operator, is more than the total number of subscribers to some 'mature' operators such as Telenor Norway, for example.China Mobile said 5.15 million of its new customers in June were pre-paid subscribers and 372,000 were contract customers. The additions raised its total number of subscribers to 332.4 million, up from 326.9 million at the end of May.
