Angry Birds Space has hit the coveted 50 million download milestone, shaving 15 days off of Draw Something's recent '50m downloads in 50 days' record.
Now, Rovio claims the result makes Angry Birds Space the "fastest growing mobile game yet", breaking all of the firm's previously held records.
The developer, blogged: "While numbers like this certainly say something about the popularity of Angry Birds, for us the main goal is to keep creating fun new experiences that everybody can enjoy!"
Rovio mysteriously added that "something even bigger is on the way."
Angry Birds Space is available for iOS, Android, PC and Mac.
