Android-powered games console emerges

It's called ODROID, like the Irish robot. No cellular connectivity though.

Slashgear reports on the device, which manufacturer Hardkernal is basing around the same 600MHz Samsung S5PC100 ARM Cortex A8 processor as Apple's iPhone 3GS.

ODROID is definitely not a phone though, with no cellular connectivity. But is does have Wi-Fi, a 3.5-inch 320 x 480 touchscreen, 720p-capable HDMI output and SD/microSD slots.

No word on pricing or availability yet though, so whether this will actually see the light of day remains to be seen.
